With this new milestone, Regan's total book sales top 5 million!
On September 29, 2022, it was announced that Lisa signed a new, massive fifteen-book contract with Bookouture. These books will be part of the bestselling Josie Quinn series. Previously, Lisa had had a three-book deal; another three-book deal; a six-book deal and an eight-book deal with Bookouture for a total of 20 Josie Quinn titles.
This new contract brings the total books anticipated for the series to thirty-five.

On April 22, 2025, the Italian translation of Detective Josie Quinn book 12, Il Suo Tocco Mortale, reached number 1 on the Italian Kindle bestseller chart.
The incredible independent bookstore, Medina Books & Coffee of Coopersburg, PA hosted a fabulous launch event for the 22nd book in the Detective Josie Quinn series, HUSBAND MISSING complete with a scavenger hunt using a box that Lisa had recreated from the book (a box of menacing mementos from one of the series' biggest villains).
The 22nd book in the Detective Josie Quinn series, HUSBAND MISSING, was released on March 19, 2025. It went straight into Amazon's Top 100.

HER DYING SECRET, the 20th book in the Detective Josie Quinn series was published on May 14, 2024.
In this installment, Josie is called to the scene of a fatal car accident only to find that one of the passengers has been murdered. Clutched in her fist is a child's drawing--the only clue Josie has to find a savage killer.

On February 28, 2024, the 17th book in the Detective Josie Quinn series, CLOSE HER EYES, was nominated for an International Thriller Award in the Best Ebook category.
On January 30, 2024, the 19th book in the Detective Josie Quinn series, FACE HER FEAR, debuted. It went straight into Amazon's Top 100 and was also an Apple Books bestseller.
In this installment, Josie is at a retreat for processing trauma at a remote mountain hunting lodge. A snowstorm cuts them off from civilization and naturally, someone is murdered.
Detective Josie Quinn Book 18, MY CHILD IS MISSING, debuted at number 6 on the Wall Street Journal's Fiction e-book Bestseller List. It made Amazon's Top 100 Kindle bestseller list in 4 countries: the USA, the UK, Canada, and Australia.
In this book, children are going into the woods in Central Pennsylvania to see if they can survive "The Woodsman". According to the lore that has been circulating through schools, two children go into the woods and only one emerges. Teachers believed it was nothing more than a story but when two sisters in Denton go missing in the woods and only one returns, Josie races against the clock to get to the bottom of "The Woodsman" myth.

On December 27, 2022, Book 16 in the Detective Josie Quinn series, The Innocent Wife, debuted at #3 on the Wall Street Journal Fiction Ebook Bestseller list. (The USA Today bestseller list was disbanded earlier in 2022 and no longer exists).
On December 18, 2022, Lisa appeared at the Books-A-Million in Pottstown, PA to sign books.
Book 16 in the Detective Josie Quinn series, THE INNOCENT WIFE, was released on December 12, 2022. It reached the Top 50 in Amazon's U.S. Kindle store and also debuted at number 3 on the Wall Street Journal's Fiction eBook Bestseller list.
Lisa's publisher, Bookouture, has secured a deal for the first five books in the Detective Josie Quinn series to be translated into Turkish.
Lisa appeared at Main Point Books in Wayne, PA as part of their Small Business Saturday event to sign books!

On September 17, 2022, Lisa was a member of a mystery author panel called Just the Facts which took place at the Bear, Delaware Public Library where Lisa and several other talented mystery writers discussed writing crime fiction. Lisa was thrilled to join the panel and speak with Chris Bauer, Austin Camacho, J.M. Reinbold, and Greg Smith. The panel was moderated by author Weldon Burge.
On September 14, 2022, Lisa appeared at the Hockessin Bookshelf in Hockessin Delaware for a Q&A event with the incomparable Matty Dalrymple wherein we discussed the Josie Quinn series and HER FINAL CONFESSION.

On a personal note, Lisa's beloved father, Billy Regan, passed away on April 9, 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly. After Christmas, her family presented her with a very special gift. Here is what she wrote about it:
The last morning that my dad was alive, he went out trash-picking or, as we always called it, simply: "picking". My dad loved to find discarded, broken things, fix them up and make them fabulous. That was one of his defining characteristics. I did not know it, but the last "pick" that he brought home was a small table, its top in the shape of a book. He picked it up because as soon as he saw it, he thought of me. That morning, he brought it home, carried it inside before anyone was even awake, and set it beside his recliner. There he sat, waiting for someone to walk in so that he could tell them about his treasure and his idea for fixing it up. My brother, Kevin and sister-in-law, Christine and their kids were staying with my parents temporarily. When Christine woke; when my brother Kevin came home from an overnight shift fighting fires; and then when my mom woke--before any coffee was consumed--dad rushed to show them the table. In all his years of picking, he had never seen anything like it. He had this idea that Christine's dad, Don, who is family to us and also an absolutely fantastic artist, could airbrush the cover of my first book, FINDING CLAIRE FLETCHER, on the tabletop. Christine told dad that that book had two different covers, but he insisted that it be the very first one that Don paint onto the tabletop. "She worked so hard," he told my sister-in-law. "And she never let them tell her no." He was so proud of that book, Christine said. He was absolutely giddy with excitement over having found the table. He wanted it to be finished in time to give it to me for Christmas.
That night, he died.
In the torturous months that followed, somehow, my family worked to bring his last idea to fruition. The table was surreptitiously transferred to Don, who worked to get it just right, every inch done by hand--BY HAND!--so that it would be ready by Christmas. Unfortunately, our family Christmas had to be delayed twice. Today was the first day that we were all able to gather together. Surrounded by the people I love, flanked by my two brothers, Kevin and Andy, I read the note that Christine wrote me, explaining the gift's backstory and then, unveiled before me was our dad's last great idea made a reality. The last vision he had for transforming something discarded and battered into something amazing actualized. It is his last Christmas gift to me, bestowed from beyond the grave, made possible by a series of incredible acts of love--for my dad and for me. Today, I cried, not from grief, but from the feeling that, with this gift, with these acts of love, some of the broken things inside me had been pieced carefully and lovingly back together.
At my dad's funeral, I told those in attendance that one of the things I learned from him was that there is wonder in this world, if only we choose to see it. In the months since then, it has been almost impossible for me to see it. Today, that vision was restored, at least in part. The grief remains but is ever more tempered by the love that I am still lucky enough to have in my life. Thank you to my lovely, wonderful family for this gift. I will treasure it until the day I join our dad on the other side. Also, to Don, because this would not have even been possible without his stunning talent and his determination to make my dad's wish come true.
After its release on December 10, 2021, THE DROWNING GIRLS, book 13 in the Detective Josie Quinn series reached number 1 on the Fiction E-books Wall Street Journal bestseller list. It also reached number 50 on the USA Today bestseller list.
On October 24, 2021, Lisa was honored by her high school, Danville Area Senior High School as one of the outstanding alumni of the year.
On October 1, 2021, the Czech translation of HER MOTHER'S GRAVE was released in the Czech Republic.

It was five a.m. on November 20th and I was awake (reluctantly) because Mr. Phillip was sick. My phone started blowing up with messages from the incredible family at my publisher, Bookouture, letting me know that the Josie Quinn series had hit one million copies in sales. Message after message of congratulations poured in from my publisher. There I am, at five in the morning, cleaning up dog puke, as one does, and bawling my eyes out because I never, ever, ever, not one time, in my wildest imagination, thought I would ever hit such a milestone. So THANK YOU to everyone of you who have read or bought one of my books and/or have spread the word, left a review, recommended my work, or been a staunch cheerleader! You are the best! It means the world to me. Shortly after that, I inked a new 8 book contract with Bookouture because, frankly, there is nowhere else I would rather be. We have been celebrating in secret for the last two weeks and I am glad the news is out finally! These things don't happen without some pretty amazing people in your corner, and I am blessed and grateful to have the absolute best publishing family, best readers, best friends and family, and the best writing colleagues. On May 3, 2019, Lisa Regan was honored by her alma mater, Bloomsburg University. She was invited to speak and read at the annual Friends of the Bloomsburg University Library Association Author's Dinner where she was also the recipient of the Maroon and Gold Quill Award in recognition of her achievement in writing. Regan was honored to be introduced by her former and favorite English professor, Dr. Danny Robinson.
The fifth installment in the Detective Josie Quinn series, THE BONES SHE BURIED, was released on March 27, 2019. In its first week of sales, it reached #12 on the USA Today bestseller list.

Lisa signs with Bookouture & Grand Central in a six-book deal, releasing Vanishing Girls in the U.S. in paperback!
It’s true. In addition to the two 3-book deals I had already made with Bookouture for the Josie Quinn books, I’ve signed an additional six book deal. Long live Josie Quinn! I am over the moon.
In addition to that, Bookouture inked a deal with Grand Central Publishing to do a paperback run of Vanishing Girls in the U.S. now slated for release on 11/26/19!
